LET’’S PRAY TOGETHER
I am a true believer in the power of prayer! In my own life, I’ve experienced God show up in incredible ways and it started with the foundation of prayer. Whether God was lifting my heavy burdens, healing my hurting heart or equipping me to handle the unexpected challenges of life, God showed up through answered prayers! Whatever storms you may be facing, God wants to meet you right in the midst of it. He is a faithful and good God.
Below I have written a few prayers, including one for those in need of physical healing, another for parental wisdom and guidance and lastly a prayer for our children. My hope is that you find comfort and peace as you meditate on these prayers and may you be assured that God is with you always.
Much love, Michelle
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
Lord, We come to you today and praise you as creator, healer and Lord over all!
We lift up those who are experiencing sickness or disease in their bodies, may you bring healing and comfort at this time. Grant divine insight into any known and unknown diagnoses. Cover us with your peace that surpasses all understanding. May your presence and miraculous power be felt in our greatest times of need. Relieve us of pain and restore health and wholeness to the body. We stand against fear, anxiety and hopelessness and in turn pray for peace, hope and sound a mind. We speak LIFE over every part and function of our body. Give us discernment and the desire to treat our bodies well and to nourish with life giving food and care. We pray for wisdom and understanding for the doctors, nurses, staff and caregivers that may be tending to us. Lastly, we ask that you would provide financially for every need and surround us with supportive and loving friends and family.
We place our trust in you and the power of your name,
In Jesus’s precious name, Amen.

A MAMA’S PRAYER
Lord, we lift your name on high and thank you that you are the Kings of kings and the Lord of lords. Thank you that you are a God of truth, light, love and the perfect Father to us all.
Lord, we pray that all of our children would walk in your light and in the power of your name. For those who are not walking with you, we ask that you open their eyes and draw them to you. May you soften their hearts to receive your grace, mercy, and forgiveness and may they wholly and willingly submit their lives to you.
Lord, may our children’s identity be found in you and you alone. Make known to them who they are and all that you’ve created them to be! Give them the strength, insight and endurance to stand against the ways of this world. May they know that they are loved by you and that nothing can separate them from that love.
May they delight in the gifts and talents you have placed in them and may those gifts be evident to all who see them. We pray that our children will grow to be leaders and faithful followers of you. May they lead with compassion, integrity and Godly character. Empower them to positively impact the lives and the world around them.
Lead and guide our children each day, watch over them and protect them from harm.
Grant them courage, boldness and confidence and a deep knowing that you are with them always. May they stand for righteousness and be a light for you.
Fill them with wisdom and discernment to make sound decisions. Keep their paths straight, surround them with Godly friends, and mold them by your spirit to be kind, loving, humble and gentle people. Teach them to depend on you as their source for all things good. May they experience the freedom and joy that can only be found in you. Continue to equip and strengthen them for the journey of life and may they be used for your ultimate glory.
In Jesus name, Amen.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13

Lord, we praise you and thank you for the blessing of being a parent. We thank you for our children as they are fearfully and wonderfully made by you!
Lord, we know that parenting is a gift and can be incredibly rewarding, but there are times when it can be challenging and overwhelming too. In those times we ask that you would strengthen and equip us. Fill us with your wisdom and love for each of our children. Help us to understand and be aware of the times our kids are growing up in. Show us when to speak and when to be quiet, when to comfort and when to give space. May we raise our children in the light and the truth of your word. May we parent with the same love, compassion and guidance that you grant to us.
Lord, we ask that you would provide for our children’s needs and that your will would be done in and through their lives. Help us to be accurate examples of a life that has been transformed by you. When we fall short, let us be quick to apologize and model mature parenting and love. Reveal to us the gifts and talents that you’ve uniquely placed in each child. May we provide loving and safe homes for our children to learn, explore and expand their capacity to grow.
Lord, we know we will never be “perfect parents” and our children will never be “perfect children” help us to extend grace to ourselves and to our families. Heal us from our past hurts and set us free from any generational disfunction. May we seek to be healthy parents submitted to you.
Lastly Lord, in areas that we feel ill-equipped, let us remember that you can and will thoroughly equip us for every good work. Teach us through your word and surround us with examples of Godly parents. Gently remind us that you are with us and will never leave us or forsake us. Thank you for hearing our prayers and for being the One and only perfect Father! It’s in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
